Dingxi, Jul. 26 (BNA): A flash flood caused by heavy rainfall left 10 people dead and 23 others injured in the People’s Republic of China’s northwestern Gansu Province.
According to the Xinhua News Agency, the flood swept through a scenic area in Weiyuan County, Dingxi City, where a number of tourists were camping, leaving them trapped.
Local public security and fire and rescue departments immediately sent emergency teams to the affected area, while search and rescue efforts are continuing to look for possible missing people.
