Lisbon, Sep. 4 (BNA): An ongoing heatwave has raised the wildfire risk to the maximum level in 11 municipalities in northern and central Portugal, according to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere.
More than 50 other municipalities across nine districts face a very high wildfire risk.
The institute also issued a yellow heat warning for 14 districts across mainland Portugal, effective until 7 p.m. on September 5.
