Manama, Jul. 26 (BNA): Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain and official sponsor of the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix Formula 1 race, welcomed the confirmation by Formula 1 and the International Automobile Federation (FIA) that the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia will host the 2026 Bahrain Grand Prix from October 2 to 4.
Gulf Air announced its intention to operate direct flights to Kuala Lumpur, in a step that strengthens air connectivity between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Malaysia and provides motorsport fans and travelers with a seamless gateway to enjoy the atmosphere of the 2026 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix Formula 1 race.
The airline’s partnership with Formula 1 dates back to the first Grand Prix race in the Gulf region in 2004, reflecting the strength and continuity of this partnership.
As the official sponsor of the race, Gulf Air continues to take pride in supporting this event and bringing Bahraini hospitality to Malaysia.
