Manama, Jun. 23 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 2,036.40 points, marking an increase of 5.63 points over the previous closing.
This increase was due to gains in the communications services, financials, materials and consumer staples sectors.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 977.53 points, marking an increase of 1.87 points over the previous closing.
Results indicated that 61 equity transactions took place with a volume of 19,766,703 shares worth BHD 4,222,007.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 91.10% of the total value of securities traded.
